The PADI Assistant Instructor course takes your PADI Divemaster training one step further. You will be able to practice classroom presentations, perform initial confined water skills, conduct open water surface skills, teach and certify other PADI programs such the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty.
Candidates complete independent study using the new PADI IDC materials. You can complete the independent eLearning prior to beginning the Assistant Instructor course, or you can start the AI and complete independent study as you progress. This effectively makes it YOUR AI course on YOUR SCHEDULE, not on our schedule. What a difference!
As with all PADI programs, instructor development courses are performance-based. The course
length may vary depending on factors such as logistical considerations and the number of candidates in the course. After candidates complete the eLearning portion, the program could be completed in 3 days.
